Everything is Changing

I’ve noticed that everything seems to be changing about me now that I’m a follower of Jesus Christ. One example of how I’ve changed is that I write differently. My current writing style is somewhat similar to my old one, yet there is a noticeable difference. There seems to be, within the lines, a purpose that did not exist in my writing before before. There is something less selfish about my words now. In life I’ve also become a kinder, nicer person. Would you believe me if I told you I’ve become less judgmental since I’ve surrendered my life to Christ? Its true. I see people differently now; I actually like people and want to help others.

Before I found the Lord I was a cyncical person constantly questioning the motives of other people. Now that I’ve surrendered my life to the Lord, It amazes me the compassion that the Lord has filled my heart with for other people. I want so much to help others. I want to feed the hungry, read to the blind, and shelter the homeless. I feel transformed. For the first time in so long my emotions are very stable. I find myself content when before I would be constatnly frowning or even crying. The Lord has given me so much. He is amazing.
